- The coating is a water‑based, acrylic, elastomeric solar‑reflective roof paint with high solar reflectance / high SRI — designed to reflect a large portion of solar radiation and reduce heat absorption.
- It reduces roof‑surface temperature significantly: for concrete / RCC / asbestos roofs up to ~ 30 °C, and for metal / GI / sheet‑metal roofs up to ~ 40 °C under sun exposure.
- As a result, it helps lower indoor heat load, which can reduce need for cooling (fans / AC) and save energy.
- It is UV‑resistant, weather‑resistant, waterproof, and resistant to algae/fungi.
- It also has “crack‑bridging” capability (can seal small hairline cracks), which helps extend roof life and reduce maintenance.
- The coating is eco‑friendly / low VOC compared to many solvent‑based paints.
